How to access the red-carpet premiere crowd viewing areas
For gala premiere screenings at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall during the 2025 BFI London Film Festival, we have several crowd viewing areas that fans can experience the excitement of the red carpet from.
How it works
- Access to these areas is solely via wristbands which will be distributed from 9am on the day of the red-carpet premiere from the audience entry point at Southbank Centre
- There will be a limited number of wristbands available for each screening, and they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis
- Once you have a wristband, make sure you arrive by the below times to ensure entry, otherwise you risk losing your place in the viewing area for the red carpet you wish to view
- Should space become available in viewing areas, a limited number of wristbands will be available following the cut-off times below
- All wristband holders are expected to abide by our customer charter, notably to expect that they will be treated and treat others with dignity and respect
- Wristbands grant you access to the viewing areas only. You will not be able toattend the screening unless you have a valid ticket
Accessible crowd viewing area
If you require entry to the accessible crowd viewing area, please see those instructions on our Access at the festival page.
Code of conduct
The BFI, and their security representatives, reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person acting in an unacceptable manner, examples of which include, but are not limited to: using offensive language, not abiding by staff instruction and being physically aggressive or intimidating to BFI staff or other wristband holders.
Festival guests
For all our red-carpet premieres, film team attendance is subject to change and there is no guarantee that any member of the film team will sign autographs or take pictures.
