Introduction

Join our panel of disabled filmmakers and XR practitioners, who are redefining how disability is portrayed on screen and in VR, to hear how they're breaking down stereotypes, pushing back on tired tropes and telling stories that actually reflect their lives - honest, bold and unapologetically their own. Sharing their unique perspectives and creative journeys, they aim to challenge audiences to rethink preconceived notions, and embrace a richer, more nuanced understanding of disability in film and media. This panel is a powerful opportunity to hear authentic voices driving meaningful change in storytelling and representation.
