Italian version with English subtitles
This international production charts the odyssey of two Italian brothers who emigrate to America to seek their fortune in early Hollywood, just prior to the outbreak of the First World War. The Tavianis’ most overt exploration of the magic and mystery of cinema, it was also their most ambitious project, featuring a high-profile international cast.
Restored by Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Cineteca Nazionale and by Cinecittà S.p.A. at the laboratory at Cinecittà S.p.A.
As mentioned in the Guide, we are showing the Italian version of the film with English subtitles. Please note however, that most of the dialogue is in English with only a few Italian subtitles.
The new NFT3 entrance is in the main foyer.
