Please note, Christopher Nolan in Conversation is sold out and all seats have been allocated. We will not be operating a standby queue for this event so would advise not attending the BFI Southbank tomorrow unless you already have a ticket for a BFI Southbank screening.

The BFI is celebrating the extraordinary and unique achievements of one of the world’s most influential and successful film artists, Christopher Nolan, with the award of BFI Fellowship. This is our highest honour. In a remarkable 25-year career Nolan has extended the limits of filmmaking, gaining recognition as an exhilarating and visionary film artist who is also able to connect with audiences on a cerebral level. Acclaimed as an innovator by critics and peers alike, his films have garnered 11 Academy Awards and grossed over $6.1 billion worldwide. Nolan’s work as an activist and advocate for film provides a special relationship to the BFI, and we are delighted to welcome him to discuss his career in this special, illustrated in conversation.
