Programmes focusing on the lives of Asian Women initially looked at the domestic sphere, before more serious investigations centred on domestic violence and self-harm. Despite Black women having prominent roles in production and presenting across multicultural shows, there was relatively little coverage of issues affecting Black women. This 1996 episode of Black Bag is a rare exception.
