This biopic of Ed Wood celebrates his drive and determination as he moves from one poorly received film production to another. He faces the taboo of his own cross dressing by making the film Glen and Glenda, as well as befriending veteran horror icon Bela Lugosi (an Oscar-winning turn by Martin Landau), who appeared in several of his films. Tim Burton’s witty, beautifully shot and loving homage is the perfect companion piece to the season and our special screening of Plan 9 from Outer Space.
