A BFI National Archive print
Wood’s crowning achievement, honourably badged ‘the worst film of all time’ and starring goth icons Bela Lugosi and Vampira, screens from a brand new 35mm print, made from original elements by the BFI National Archive specifically for this season. Experience the film, with its creepy tale of alien invasion and resurrected corpses, on the full majesty of the big screen, as it was meant to be seen and on the scale it deserves.
The screening of Plan 9 from Outer Space on Tuesday 7 April will include an extended intro by BFI National Archive preservation and curatorial staff, and writer Ken Hollings.
