Introduction

Although 15-year-old Lea makes friends easily, she’s envious of the thin girls at her summer health camp. Used to being overlooked by boys her own age, and with her hormones swirling, she’s unwisely drawn to one of the adult coaches. Emilie Thalund’s debut is candid yet sensitive, boldly exploring illicit desire and the controlling notions of wellness and body image through considered framing and vividly natural performances.
