Introduction

Cool-headed and Farsi fluent, Swiss diplomat Alexandra Weiss is the woman responsible for the smooth running of these potentially explosive talks. Diplomatic pressures, rising tensions amongst delegates and the unexpectedly late arrival of her former Iranian lover all challenge Alexandra’s sense of duty. This taut new series, co-written by Alice Winocour and directed by Jean-Stéphane Bron couldn’t be more timely.
