The festival welcomes secondary and primary schools to take part in this year’s programme.
Primary and secondary schools can access free schools’ events, along with specially selected shorts and features, with free curriculum-linked Learning Resources.
LFF Highlights for Schools offer students aged 15-19 the chance to explore other areas of the main festival programme.
When and where? Feature films screen at BFI Southbank. Shorts are available to view online throughout the festival dates on BFI Player. Schools’ events including Q&As are scheduled – see below.
How much? Schools’ events, short films and Learning Resources are all free except schools’ access to selected feature screenings at the special schools’ discount rate of £3. Screenings and events suggested in LFF Highlights for Schools may incur a charge.
