Her presence is met with resistance by a cocksure engineer who clings to the status quo of the hyper-masculine world he resides in. But it's the arrival of another stranger who ultimately upends the fragile world in which they all exist. Adapted from Bernard-Marie Koltès's play ‘Black Battles with Dogs’, Denis’ riveting drama gives primacy to her actors – their dialogues expressing inner desires and articulating the broader societal inequities that prevail between those who reside on either side of the fence. Step into Academy Award-winning director Guillermo del Toro’s breathtaking exhibition.
This immersive exhibition will celebrate del Toro’s visionary storytelling and the exceptional craftsmanship of his team. Diving deep into his elaborate filmmaking process, it will showcase an impressive collection of stunning props, artwork, costumes, Tiffany & Co. jewellery featured in the film and rare books curated by the firm Peter Harrington to honour Mary Shelley’s legacy.
The exhibition will run from 17th October to 9th November at The Old Selfridges Hotel, London and will be open 10am until 6pm Thursday-Sunday each week, with two exclusive LFF for Free slots at 12 noon and 12:30 on Friday 17th October and Sunday 19th October.
