Introduction

Shu-Fen runs a night market stall to support her two daughters, teenager I-Ann and the joyful primary school-aged I-Jing. As they navigate city life, family secrets are revealed and new futures emerge for them all. Anchored by excellent performances and employing a striking visual language, Tsou expertly interweaves the storylines to offer a heartfelt portrait of familial connection and love.
