Introduction

Hersh is the reporter responsible for some of the biggest journalistic exposés of the late-20th-century, from the massacre of North Vietnamese civilians in My Lai to the torture of prisoners at Abu Ghraib. Obenhaus and Poitras’ (All the Beauty and the Bloodshed) film is a rare opportunity to encounter this fearless, uncompromising and complex individual.
