We all experience the world differently. Some films and works contain distressing themes, scenes, language and references that may be triggering to some audience members. To help you decide if a particular screening or event is for you, please see individual programme pages for content and trigger warnings (including use of flashing imagery) as well as age recommendations and certificates.

All best efforts have been made to highlight where we believe scenes, themes or storylines in the programme may be distressing to viewers. Where racial or sexualised violence is present, this is clearly indicated.

We understand many people don’t want us to spoil the plot for them by identifying particularly specific themes. We also acknowledge that some films approach issues which are particularly sensitive and personal. Our Box Office team can provide more detail about sensitive content on certain titles.
