Introduction

Athens-based Palestinian refugee Chantile is straddled with the responsibility of looking after his addict cousin Reda, while also trying to save enough money to assure their passage to Germany. The stakes for their journey are high, but it’s a price they must pay to escape the escalating threat of the city they’re trapped in. This topical, knife-edge drama is driven by Mahmood Bakri’s powerful central performance.
