Introduction
The Charles family piano is divisive. To patriarch Doaker, its intricately carved exterior represents their lineage. His nephew Boy Willie sees it as a meal ticket. And niece Berniece, despite regarding it as a boon, refuses to let go. But when the trauma of their past manifests to harm the family, the piano may be the one thing that finally unites them.
