DJs Anna Greenwood (Guilty Pleasures) and Neil Prince (R & She) spin old school disco classics, inspired by Jewel’s Catch One, the Los Angeles club that was known as “the Studio 54 of the West Coast”.
Directed by C. Fitz, Jewel’s Catch One is a loving documentary tribute to the club, which served as the city’s premier Black LGBT club for 42 years before closing just last year, and its owner, activist Jewel Thais-Williams.
This is a free event open to all. Advance tickets are not required.
