Introduction

We meet a group of charming teenage rebels who secretly pursue their passion for early electronic music. Their school – a microcosm of society with prevailing xenophobia, surveillance and authoritarianism – is disturbingly familiar. ‘Everything is done. All we can do is to discover old gems,’ captures their persuasively pessimistic nostalgia. Jam-packed with delightful cinematic details, Sora’s fictional debut elegantly dances across time and space.
