Grand Theft Hamlet
A version of Hamlet produced exclusively within the video game Grand Theft Auto – it’s an unlikely combo that is, by turns, singularly funny and deeply affecting.

Introduction
During another lockdown in January 2021, two jobless actors spend too much time within the realm of GTA, the notoriously violent, yet impressively crafted video game. From these two bored yet fertile minds come the incongruous idea to stage a play within the game. Entirely shot within GTA, this documentary explores themes of isolation, art and space in an innovative and unexpectedly moving way.
