Introduction

Denmark in the near future. Water is rising to unmanageable levels and the government decides to declare the end of the nation and evacuate the country. As the former citizens disperse, they are confronted with their new status as refugees and face seemingly impossible choices. An affecting and timely story of displacement, Families Like Ours serves as a reminder of the fragility of our place in the world.
