Introduction

Having felt trapped in her life and with people believing she died in a crash, Aya flees to Tunis under a new identity. But when she witnesses police violence against a civilian and fingers point towards her as the possible guilty party, it’s not just the new world she has created for herself that is at threat. Mehdi M. Barsaoui (A Son) has created a taut, all-too-believable character study.
