Introduction

Vicente is 76 and living it up in Gran Canaria after breaking up with the man he left his wife and daughter for. But after suffering a stroke, he finds himself in a care home, repressing his sexuality and faced with his shortcomings as a parent and person. Brilliantly exploring bilingualism and elder solidarity, this is a life-affirming look at how it’s never too late to improve ourselves.
