The fourth instalment to the now infamous Mission: Impossible franchise and this time in IMAX with Laser, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is a showcase of international stunts and jawdropping heights with THAT sequence featuring Cruise scaling the Burj Khalifa tower. While Hunt’s previous missions have involved traitor agents and virus weapons, this particular adventure finds Hunt working to prevent a nuclear war after the Kremlin is blown up and the US government disavows the IMF, leaving Ethan and team on their own. The stakes are higher than ever, and Hunt must overcome both physical and emotional hardships in order to do his job and save the world.

The fifth Mission: Impossible film in the franchise, now also in IMAX with Laser, introduces Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) as an MI6 agent who encounters Ethan Hunt while she is undercover in a crime organisation called Syndicate, an international group of rogue spies. Bringing in the longest serving and current director in the series, Christopher McQuarrie, and an added level of stunts and action sequences, the film sees Hunt captured by the group, framed to take the blame of their violent actions as he must set out to clear his name. All whilst on the run, this time throughout more countries the franchise has ever been to.

The sixth Mission: Impossible film in the franchise sees Ethan Hunt and his now larger team go after the international crime organisation Syndicate, from the previous film Rogue Nation, who have now reformed as the Apostles. Once again teaming up with Ilsa Faust and now having a new team member in CIA heavy August Walker (Henry Cavill), Ethan Hunt is tasked with finding the Syndicate's new leader, John Lark. Director Christopher McQuarrie back again and introducing the legend Angela Bassett as CIA Director Erika Sloane. This film brings in CIA, MI6 and more global interpol-esque agents than ever before, creating a truly global, international web of double-crossing complexities that only the best agent can tackle. Once again, Ethan saves the day, but not without coming dangerously close to Armageddon.
