These are usually central (for example, row J), however sometimes this may change.

Good to know before you visit
Age restrictions
For films with a BBFC certificate, like 12A, 15 or 18, we cannot admit anyone under the certificate age. We might ask you for photo ID showing your date of birth, like a driving license, passport or a copy of the original document. Legally we cannot accept verbal confirmation of your age, from you or anyone with you.
Film times and trailers
We show age-appropriate adverts and trailers for around 15 minutes from the advertised start time.
If you’re running late, we reserve the right not to admit you. You cannot buy tickets after the film starts, but if you’ve pre-booked our team will do their best to seat you. This might not be in the seats you originally booked, so we don’t disturb other visitors.
General terms
We’re proud of the vibrant film culture we create together with our audiences. To make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience, you must be seated and put your phone away while the film is on.
You cannot record, film or take photographs during the screening.
At all times, we also reserve the right to:
- ask you for ID to show your age
- change film times without notice due to unavoidable circumstances
- change fees and ticket prices
- refuse admission or remove your BFI membership in exceptional cases
Tickets cannot be resold for higher than 20% of the original purchase price.
Thanks for your understanding, and we hope you enjoy your visit to BFI IMAX.
