On sale – 9am, Monday 15 June

The first four weeks of The Odyssey screenings go on sale at 9am on Monday 15 June.

Our Queue-It system will be in place. Anyone visiting the BFI IMAX site from 8am on Monday 15 June will be placed in a virtual waiting room.

Once screenings are on sale at 9am, all those waiting will randomly be assigned a place in the queue and given an approximate time as to when they can enter the site.

Once you have entered the site, if you are a BFI member you should log in before browsing screenings to ensure you get member discount, as you cannot adjust this once tickets are in your basket.

It is anticipated The Odyssey will receive a BBFC 15 certificate. Please do not purchase tickets for anyone under 15.

Tips for a smoother booking experience

  • Log on and check your password before Monday. Even while Queue-it is in place on the BFI IMAX site you can also log in on our BFI Southbank site to check your login works (but note, you will not be able to book Odyssey tickets via this site).
  • If you have any issues with your password on the day, please email [email protected] and our team will be happy to help.
  • For the smoothest booking journey, we recommend using the latest version of Chrome or Firefox browser on desktop devices.
  • Please do not use multiple browser sessions at once. We don’t recommend having the site open in more than one place as it may cause problems. Please do not refresh your screen or log out while booking as we are unable to retrieve baskets or honour seats lost if this does occur.
  • Tickets will remain in your basket for 40min, as long as you remain active on the website (for example, by clicking through pages). If you stay inactive for more than 15min, the system will log you out and tickets will be released.
  • If you haven't booked with us before, you’ll need to create an online account, and we recommend doing this in advance of Monday.
  • It is against our terms and conditions to sell BFI IMAX tickets for over 20% face value. We will be monitoring reselling platforms for this and upon discovery the original tickets could be subject to cancellation.
