Bram Stoker’s Dracula

One of the most faithful adaptations of the source material, Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula, Francis Ford Coppola (Apocalypse Now, The Godfather, Megalopolis) punctuates his pitch-black love story about the vampire who travels from Eastern Europe to England in search of human love with cinematic flare and baroque flourishes. Featuring Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight) in the central role as the Count himself, alongside Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice) as Mina Harker, Anthony Hopkins (Silence of the Lambs) as Professor Abraham Van Helsing, and Keanu Reeves (The Matrix) as the lawyer Jonathan Harker. Here Dracula is given a heart and soul to go with his violent appetite and together with Coppola leaning into the romanticism of the novel, this version becomes one of the most sumptuous and lavish ever made.
