Find out what accessible facilities are available and information if you use a wheelchair or have a guide dog.
Accessible facilities
If you use a wheelchair or scooter
The screen is accessible from the ground floor lift. If you book a wheelchair space, you'll be able to book a companion seat next to you. We also accept the CEA card, which means your companion can book their ticket for free.
To book a wheelchair space and companion seat, call us on 020 7960 2102 or email [email protected] (with the subject line 'ACCESS') before your screening.

Lifts and step-free access
BFI IMAX is a multi-level building with lifts to each floor. Our large lift has a maximum capacity of 1000kg, and our small lift has a maximum capacity of 630kg.
Find out about step-free access in our screen.
Toilets and baby changing facilities
We have five wheelchair accessible toilets in the IMAX:
- one toilet in the ground floor foyer
- two toilets on the first floor, positioned in each lift lobby
- two toilets on the fourth floor (auditorium entrance for wheelchair users), positioned in each lift lobby
There are male and female toilets in the ground and first floor foyers.
There are baby change facilities available in the wheelchair accessible toilet on the ground floor.
Storage for wheelchairs, scooters, and prams
We can provide storage for buggies, prams and wheelchairs while you watch the film. If you need to store something while you’re in the film, please let us know before by calling 020 7960 2102 or email [email protected] (with the subject line ‘ACCESS’) before your screening.
If you have a guide dog
We welcome guide dogs (and assistance animals) at BFI IMAX. We can provide drinking water for your animal. We're unable to look after your dog during screenings so you'll have to take them into the screen with you.
Quieter areas
BFI IMAX is a complex building with two spacious foyer spaces that some may find overwhelming. If at any time you feel anxious or need to be away from the public area for any reason, please speak to a member of staff.
Eating and drinking
There is a café in the downstairs lobby serving hot drinks and light meals.
There is also a food counter on the upper floor that sells popcorn, drinks, nachos and Pick & Mix.
