- National Theatre underground car park (about 140 metres from BFI IMAX)
- APCOA South Bank (about 320 metres from BFI IMAX)

The best drop-off and pick-up point is on the junction of Upper Ground and Theatre Avenue, then follow signs for BFI IMAX under the pedestrian tunnel.
By public transport
Bus

Tube
The nearest Underground station is Waterloo, which has step-free entrances and exits. You can get the Jubilee, Northern, Waterloo & City, or Bakerloo lines to Waterloo. Check the latest updates on buses and tubes on the TfL website.
Train
The nearest train station is Waterloo, which has step-free entrances and exits. You can get South Western Railway, Southeastern and Thameslink trains into Waterloo. Plan your journey on the National Rail website.

Step-free access from Waterloo Station
Use Exit 3. Make your way to King’s College James Clerk Maxwell Building / St John’s Church just off Waterloo roundabout, where there is a ramped entrance to BFI IMAX.
There is step-free access on the junction of Theatre Avenue and Upper Ground (opposite BFI Southbank), following signs for BFI IMAX.
There is also ramped access on Waterloo Bridge if you're coming from the Strand.
Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome in our venues.
