Writer Stephen Beresford in conversation with Brian Robinson on writing the screenplay for one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated films. Due for international release this summer, Pride is a bittersweet comedy based on the extraordinary true story of how a group of gay activists came together in 1984 to support the striking miners. The film is directed by Tony-winner Matthew Warchus (Matilda: The Musical) and boasts a terrific ensemble cast including Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Andrew Scott and Paddy Considine.
