Riding the third wave after the feminist sex wars of the 1980s Bloodsisters features fascinating interviews with writer Patrick Califia (then Pat), Queen Cougar (Ms San Francisco Leather 1993) and many others. One of the works that prompted a 1997 campaign by the American Family Association to argue for the abolition of public arts funding, this is a film whose relevance and importance is now abundantly clear. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, join us for the world premiere of this restored version of the film.
