The Christmas Short Films
+ Q&A with directors Dave Unwin and Richard Williams
Make sure you catch Father Christmas and The Snowman on the big screen this festive season.
We celebrate Christmas with three incredible animated films. Father Christmas (1991, Dir Dave Unwin), as seen through the eyes of Raymond Briggs, is followed by his best-loved creation The Snowman (1982, Dir Dianne Jackson). We end with a very rare opportunity to see the darkly festive Oscar®-winner A Christmas Carol (1971, Dir Richard Williams), which uses groundbreaking techniques, and was inspired by 19th-century engraved illustrations.
