Saxophonist Lee Thompson was the erratic, creative energy that brought together one of Britain’s most loved and iconic bands, Madness. This documentary traces the band’s beginnings and rise to success, but also paints a portrait of Thompson that – like its subject – is hilarious and joyfully eccentric. Following the path of Thompson’s life through his lyrics in such classics as ‘The Prince,’ ‘Embarrassment,’ ‘House of Fun,’ ‘Lovestruck’ and ‘NW5,’ the band, friends, family and musicologists discuss his work, but strangely they all look a little like Lee...
