Synopsis
Indie teams up with nightclub singer Willie Scott and 11-year-old sidekick Short-Round to solve the mysterious disappearance of children from an Indian village. In the US, this follow-up to Spielberg’s hugely popular Raiders of the Lost Ark was credited as one of several titles which fell between the ‘PG’ and ‘R’ ratings, leading to the creation of the ‘PG-13’. In the UK, Temple of Doom was cut by distributors in order to achieve a family-friendly certificate, and is here being screened uncut for the first time in a UK cinema.
