Charlotte (Smith), a dancer, must face the tensions with her sister and mother as they all deal with the gradual decline and eventual passing of her grandmother Mari, as well as the challenges of her own creative ambitions. Writer-director Georgia Parris’ first feature incorporates a lot of themes already explored in her short films – empowering tales of women finding themselves.
