Celebrate working-class British actors in our free exhibition.

We celebrate some of our top British film talent in this free exhibition of photographs, original scripts, letters, and promotional material. The 1960s heralded a new type of film star with a wealth of young, dynamic, working-class actors achieving international stardom. This exhibition explores their films and careers, as well as those of their successors, and asks: is the working-class (film) hero facing a crisis in 21st-century Britain?
