Eleven angry men and one angry woman try a boy for the murder of his employer, a serial abuser of women. The opening titles ask if women are temperamentally suited for jury duty, which tells its own story, but the film is mostly on the side on the angels. This rarely-seen film, specially programmed around International Women’s Day, is directed with the elegant efficiency for which John Stahl became known.
