Kilkenny, Ireland, 1650. Robyn and her father arrive from England, following an invasion of the country, and are employed to hunt the local wolves. Meabh is a young wolfwalker – when she sleeps, her wolf form roams at will. She and Robyn strike up a friendship, but find themselves at odds when the English invaders pose an increasing danger to all walks of life. This thrilling combination of history and myth creates a compelling narrative that explores friendship and difference.
