Who Can You Trust? The British Thriller
An exhibition that explores the tactics that artists and designers employed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
From Friday 20 October to Sunday 21 January, Mezzanine Gallery
Drawn from the BFI National Archive’s Special Collections, this exhibition explores the tactics and provocations that artists, designers, set photographers and scriptwriters employed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats – from 1940s British noir in Brighton Rock to the anxiety-ridden political thrillers of the 60s and 70s, such as The Day of the Jackal.
