Ngozi Onwurah’s first and only feature tackles racial violence in a post-apocalyptic London. Navigating a bleak, dystopian landscape, interracial couple Spike and his pregnant white girlfriend Jodie find themselves in the eye of an escalating storm. Onwurah’s singular vision is informed by an experimental aesthetic that was wholly ahead of its time.
Contains strong violence, language, drug content and some sexuality.
