The life of a respected curator (Bang) of a contemporary art museum in Stockholm is thrown into chaos following a bad interview with a journalist, his mobile phone getting stolen, and the promotional campaign for his museum’s new piece ‘The Square’ getting too much media attention. Östlund’s satirical follow up to the acclaimed Force Majeure won him the coveted Palme d’Or at 2017’s Cannes Film Festival.
