With industry experts from BBC Film, Sony Pictures, ScreenSkills and many more, the S.O.U.L Fest Symposium has been designed to help Black British creatives navigate their careers through the film industry. A featured highlight is an in-depth conversation with Dreaming Whist Black creator Adjani Salmon and Nathan Bryon, author, actor and writer (Bloods, Benidorm).

A harrowing look into the future, a glimpse into a Basketball team shaking things up in Leeds and a seemingly innocent conversation in a cab that reveals deeper societal rifts are just some of the stories that are told in this year's excellent short films, selected by the S.O.U.L Fest team and screening at the Symposium.

Tickets £8 (Members £6), £3 to Under-16s on sale Wed 4 Aug to BFI Champions and Patrons at 11:30, to BFI Members at 12:30 and to the public from 16:00.
