One night, Ben’s mother flees their lighthouse home, leaving him and a baby girl, Saoirse, to be raised by their father. As the years pass, Saoirse – who can’t speak – is drawn to a group of seals that gather in the sea outside the family home. Ben and Saoirse become immersed in a world of ancient magic, where mystical creatures such as fairies and witches lead them on a path to understanding their mother’s fate and Saoirse’s true destiny. This richly animated tale of Celtic magic and folklore is a treat.
