With Robert Liensol, Théo Légitimus, Gabriel Glissand

Shocking, and at times surreal, this highly inventive, fast-paced drama draws on the experiences of its director and cast as it follows a man who emigrates from West Africa to Paris in the promise of a better life. Once there, he encounters a host of obstacles – in his work, his accommodation and even in love. This cinematic exploration confronts notions of race and racism on many different fronts, embodies the ideas of Frantz Fanon and takes its artistic influences from the cinema of ideas of Sergei Eisenstein and the French New Wave.
