This half-term, step back into the captivating world of silent film. In this hands-on workshop, students will explore the artistry and innovation of early cinema, creating silent films that embrace the essence and limitations of the era. Through viewing clips and discussions of classic silent films – as well as contemporary works that celebrate this style – students will gather inspiration and insights for their own projects. Guided by expert filmmakers, they’ll collaborate with peers to develop their storytelling and creative skills, gaining a deeper appreciation of film history and the power of visual expression.
