Robert Altman was one of the most distinctive auteurs of the the modern era, pioneering new filmmaking techniques while taking a wry, witty, critical look at the world. In this online talk, season programmer Geoff Andrew will use clips from Altman’s movies to explore his stylistic trademarks and thematic preoccupations; he will also respond to questions and comments from the audience.
This event will take place live online via Zoom only. Please ensure you are familiar with Zoom before purchasing a ticket. Tickets for this event can be purchased online, over the phone and in person until Friday 21 May at 19:00. No tickets will be available for purchase after this date.
