Dorothy has returned to Kansas and is back living with Aunty Em and Uncle Henry, who don’t believe her stories of adventures in the land of Oz. Rescued from the hospital treating her ‘delusions’, she soon finds herself back in the Emerald City, discovering that terrible things have happened during her time away and that her friends need her help. Based on the Frank L. Baum novels and unofficially a sequel to The Wizard of Oz, Walter Murch’s film, which he also co-wrote, is a bona fide cult classic.
