Written by playwright and screenwriter David Leland and directed by former Monty Python Terry Jones, this humorous drama was inspired by the life and times of a brothel madam (Walters). A working-class single mother struggling to make ends meet, she opened her renowned suburban establishment to cater for ‘gentlemen’ of a particular persuasion, and a resulting police investigation made her a headline name in the 1980s.

Free for over-60s (booking by phone or in person only), otherwise normal matinee price.
