Presented with another classically oriented work: their adaptation of Pierre Corneille’s tragedy Othon, which takes place amidst the power struggle following the death of the Emperor Nero, a welter of skullduggery opposed by Camilla, who Straub called ‘truly epic in the Brechtian sense.’
