James Bond Day

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service: 50th Anniversary Screening

+ Q&A with George Lazenby, hosted by David Walliams

It’s Bond vs Blofeld in this stylish 1969 classic.

We are delighted to announce that actor George Lazenby will take part in a Q&A hosted by David Walliams following this screening. After the Q&A, George will be selling and signing his photographs.

To accommodate this addition to the programme, the film will now start at the earlier time of 13.00. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Following Sean Connery as Bond was a big ask, but George Lazenby brought a physicality and different energy to the role that he only played once. Ripe for re-appraisal, this classic Bond features the return of Blofeld (Savalas this time around), a great John Barry score and some incredible stunt-led set pieces. This movie offers a tantalising glimpse of what might have been had Lazenby stayed longer.

Joint ticket offer for all three James Bond Day films: £24, concs £18 (Members pay £3 less). Joint tickets only available to book in person or by phone from the BFI Box Office (020 7928 3232).
