An American burlesque dancer (Rogers) passes herself off as a socialite and marries an Austrian Baron during the early stages of WWII. A journalist (Grant) tries to charm her into giving up information on her husband, believing that he has Nazi sympathies. Trapped in Poland with danger surrounding them, the two must take drastic action. With comic moments successfully sitting alongside the darker drama, Once Upon a Honeymoon proved a great vehicle for Grant and Rogers.
